The band is happy to announce that we will be back in Walnut Creek on Saturday, May 1 at Dan’s Irish Sports Bar. The last time we played there the dance floor was packed. We can’t wait to get back there and rock it out again...and remember...there’s no cover before 9:00 PM so get there early!

The band had a great time at last weeks Crab Feed gig. Many thanks to Christ the King Church in Pleasant Hill, CA for having us back again. Next up are a few club dates. The band will be in Walnut Creek on February 5...THIS Friday at Dan’s Irish Sports Bar. We’ve been playing here for years and it’s always a blast, and remember...there’s no cover before 9:00 PM so get there early, pull up a table or play a game or two of pool and prepare yourself for a busy night. We’ll be back at The Huddle in Fremont on February 19 and then back to Danville at the Meenar Music Club on Saturday, February 20. All three gigs should be a great time and we hope to see ya there!

Lots of new gigs on the books. On Saturday, December 12th we’ll be back in Santa Clara at the Coleman Still. Then in February of next year the band is happy to announce that we’ll be returning to Dan’s Irish Sports Bar in Walnut Creek. The Dan’s show will be Friday, February 5th.

What a great weekend. We can’t remember Meenars ever being so crowded so early. Thanks to all of you who came out and partied with the band into the night. It was a blast. Maggie McGarry’s was a lot of fun as well. Brad won the parking lotto and scored a spot right across the street! Dave however got into a few altercations on Grant St. but finally got settled down. The bar really started getting crowded toward the end of the first set and was packed by the start of the 2nd. Also, a birthday shout out to Laura who did her customary dance with the band on stage (video anyone???) Thanks again for the support...we really appreciate it. See you at the next gig.

The band is pleased to announce another upcoming gig in the East Bay. We hope you all join us at Gallagher’s Dublin Pub on Friday, November 13th. Where else? But in Dublin, CA of course. Ronan would love this bar I bet. We hear this place is a rockin’ good time and that the bartenders are awesome! There may be some more dates to be added. Check back soon for more information.

Join us at the top of Piedmont Ave. in Oakland, California on Sunday, October 11, as we rock out again with the Los Carnales guys. This is a great group that does a lot of special things for people in need. The music will start around 11:00 A.M. and will continue till around 4:00 P.M. They always have killer stuff to raffle off and great food on the BBQ. Awesome cars and motorcycles on display as well. See ya there!

Due to a double booking problem, our St. James Gate gig has been canceled. Too bad too as I know we were planning on having a large group out in Belmont that night. Hopefully you’ll be able to join us for our Gate debut if we are able to rebook in the future.

Soundcheck is coming back to Meenars, this Saturday, April 4. Located at 349 Hartz Ave. in Danville this little bar really can pack them in. It’s always a blast and we hope to see you all there! We’ve also posted a couple of new dates for Meenars. July 24 and September 18. We’ve also added another date, July 25 at Maggie McGarry’s in San Francisco. Attention South Bay Friends!
We’ve recently booked another new club and we’re excited to say it’s VERY close to home for at least one band member. Please join us on Friday, February 27 as we debut at Ye Olde Royal Oak Pub in Santa Clara. This place looks great and we can’t wait to play here. Join us early for their great food and nice selection of ales and ciders.

A big thanks goes out to our good friend Gary Smith for hooking the band up with some recent video footage to share. You can find it on our Video page as well as our myspace page. The footage was taken at our buddy Tim’s 50th Birthday party in early September. It was incredibly hot that day but we had a very good time playing. We’ll add some more songs as they are compiled.

Hope all of you and your families had a great Thanksgiving. We had a blast playing at Maggie McGarry’s. What a cool club and great night out. Next time we’re there (hopefully soon) I recommend getting to the City early and getting the car parked. Although there are many lots to pay and park you may get lucky and find a spot on one of the side streets. Once settled just start walking. You will find that you have more choices of restaurants than you can imagine. From a full blown sit down meal to just getting a couple of slices at North Beach Pizza you’ll have fun choosing where to dine. Then the fun begins when you get to the pub. Maggie’s really is a lot of fun. Ton’s of cool, friendly people and none of them to shy to get on the dance floor. Hope to get back there in 2009.

Hey Gang. Lots of dates added during the last few days. More on that in a bit. But first up is our debut at Maggie McGarry’s in San Francisco. We would love to see you all out there at this KILLER pub in one of the best neighborhoods in the world, North Beach in San Francisco. We are really looking forward to playing there.
Now for some new dates. The band has already started booking 2009. We’ve got dates at Meenars, Dan’s and Vinnie’s on the books as well as two new venues for us, St. James Gate in Belmont and Babe’s Place in Livermore. We’ll be at Meenars on December 12th and Dan’s on the December 13th. Dan’s has recently undergone a bit of a remodel. We’re really looking forward to checking out the new bathrooms, carpet and most importantly the new bar top!

Many thanks to longtime guitar player and vocalist Jeff Martin. Jeff is bowing out of Soundcheck and we will certainly miss him to be sure. Keep in mind we never really say goodbye to Jeff forever. It’s really more like “Happy Trails to you...Until we meet again.”
We wish him well and hopes he enjoys his time off with his family.
